It's convenient too, because it's right in our front yard. A long time favorite of divers and snorkelers, the reef off Amergris Caye offers some of the best exploring in all the world. Capricorn can arrange excursions to meet your diving desires; helping you to get certified, diving the blue hole, or cavorting with the wonderous creatures at Shark and Ray Alley. Snorkelers also delight from the shallow waters both at and inside the reef. The crystal clear waters offer the best snorkeling around!

The reef breaks the waves out away from shore which makes the water inside the reef both calmer and clearer. This makes traversing the turquoise waters while kayaking a spectacular experience . It's not uncommon to share the experience with dolphins and other exotic sea creatures. Many visitors enjoy snorkeling from their kayak out near the reef and away from the boat traffic. Not up for paddling? Belize offers all manner of boats, boards and skis for you to enjoy. Capricorn can set you up with nearly anything you want to do! Maybe you feel like fishing? Belize offers some of the best, and most diverse fishing in the world. The barrier reef, with deep water to the east, and shallower water to the west, makes all kinds of fishing possible. We are talking fly fishing to deep sea fishing, and everything in between. Our staff will hook you up with great local guides that will pick you up right on the dock for your fishing trip. It's so much fun!

Land lovers have scads to do too! Use one of the Capricorn bicycles to ride along the miles of beautiful shoreline. Take a stroll along the beach looking for sea glass, or just enjoying the soothing trade winds. Birds soar, wade and dive all around you, on Ambergris Caye; amazing Iguana scurry about; crabs scoot along in the water; dolphins play off shore -- taking a walk Belizean style is a whole new experience! Start you hike with a nice tropical drink at the Capricorn Beach Bar. Duck into other spots along the coast to keep your thirst quenched. Just remember the ocean is always to the east!

Don't feel like walking - take a golf cart. Let us help you get behind the wheel of your very own golf cart. Our unqiue roads will keep you focused and smiling during your excursion. Head to San Pedro town for a lazy day of shopping -- experience the hand-pull ferry across the cut near town. Grab a bite or a drink and have a blast!

Mainland Belize is another world entirely. Tropical rain forests are the order of the day. Visit Mayan ruins, go cave tubing and check out the zoo. Getting there is half the fun aboard a powerboat zipping along in the mainland rivers. You'll see crocodiles, monkeys, beautiful flowers, birds -- there is just so much to see.
